HEPBURN-LINCOLN: Mrs. Elsie Rose of Extendicare Nursing Home, Port Stanley
Hepburn- Lincoln Mrs. Elsie Rose of Extendicare Nursing Home, Port Stanley, passed away on Tuesday February 11, 2014 at her late residence in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Lincoln (1961) and the late Kenneth Hepburn. Loved mother of Brian (Carol) Lincoln, Barrie (Carol) Lincoln and Keith (Lucy) Lincoln all of St. Thomas. Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Kim (Steve), Tanya (Joe), Tammi (Alan), Tate, Kevin (Karen), Jeff (Veronica) and is fondly remembered by 13 great grandchildren. Elsie is the special aunt of Hazel (Doug) Jones of London and is survived by several nieces and nephews in England. Elsie was born March 21, 1920 in London, England the daughter of the late Lillian (Hurst) and Horace Shoulder. She was a retired seamstress at the Ontario Psychiatric Hospital, in St. Thomas. The family wish to thank the staff at the Extendicare Home for all of their love and compassion.
A Private Memorial service will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas. Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be interred in the spring with her late husband Charles at the South Park Cemetery. No visitation. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Elsie.
