Arnold Bruce HELPS – 75 years of Wyoming, passed away suddenly at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Beloved husband of Doreen (nee Lewis) for 53 years. Proud father of Richard (Ann) Helps, Kevin (Cheri) Helps and Kathy (Greg) Shortt. Cherished Grandpa of Kristina, Nicole, Travis, Emily, Kylee, and Tara. Survived by his brothers Ken (Marguerite), Ross (Maxine), Gerald, and his sister Donna (Jack) Bates, and also by his sisters-in-law Betty, Jean, Shirley, Marion, Norma Steven, Merle Howes, and Elda Maw, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Elsie, his brothers Earle, Gordon, Howard and Clayton, his sister Marion Leslie (Roy), his parents-in-law Goldwin and Ella Lewis, his brother-in-law Elton Steven, and his sister-in-law Eleanor Helps.  Arnold played a major part in the Wyoming Minor Baseball Association on and off the field. He was the president of the Petrolia Jets, a Sarnia Sting season ticket holder, inducted into the Sarnia Sports Hall of Fame (2001), an avid golfer at Camlachie Golf Club, and a long time farmer of Reece’s Corners.  The Helps family would like to thank, Dr. S. Burgel, nurse practitioner Wendy McKay, and staff of North Lambton Community Health Centre, Forest, the Doctors and Nurses of the Emergency Department and 4th Floor of Bluewater Health, Sarnia.  Visitors will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the WYOMING CHAPEL, 650 Broadway St., Wyoming.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the WYOMING UNITED CHURCH, 730 Second St., Wyoming.  Rev. Wendy Milliken and Rev.
