Peacefully at Bluewater Health on Saturday November 24th, 2012, Anna Mae Harrower (nee Brain) of Sarnia passed away at the age of 86.  Anna Mae has gone to be reunited with her beloved husband Gordon (1999), her sister F. Isobel Riggs (2008) and brother-in-law F. Kenneth Riggs (1997).  Beloved mother of Kathleen and her husband Douglas Clarke and Suzanne and the late Rev. Kent Israel (2011).  Cherished grandmother of Kirsten Clarke (Luke Wales), Mark Israel, Catharina Israel (Patrick Gavigan), Callum Clarke and great grandma to Kayla Byers.  Dear Aunt of the late Robert B. Riggs (2005) and his wife Karis (McCaw), David W. Riggs and his wife Karen (Bayne),she will also be remembered by her many great nieces and nephews whom loved her dearly. Anna Mae was a longtime member and Explorer leader at Devine St. United Church and was involved in many organizations such as teaching Sunday school, volunteering with Devine St. United Church Resource Centre, the Inn of the Good Shepherd food bank, and the Sarnia Senior drop in centre. She also was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian hand bells group  and was a secretary at Johnston Memorial Public School for 35+ years. Anna Mae loved gardening and took extreme pride in her rose bushes and the coleus plants at her home. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME (1576 London Line, Sarnia) on Wednesday November 28th, 2012 from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at SMITH FUNERAL HOME on Thursday November 29th, 2012 at 11:00 am with Rev. George Bell officiating.
