Beloved husband of the late Evelyn May (nee Wade). Dear father of Lynda Appleyard and her husband Frank of Courtenay, B.C.,  Grant May and his wife Brigitte of Markdale and Mary Bowler and her husband Bill of Sauble Beach. Loving grandpa of Christine Graham (Troy) of Calgary, Alberta, Belinda Bowler (Brian Tannahill)  of Owen Sound, Alisa Bowler-MacDonald (Craig) of Port Elgin, Jason May (Raelene Bateman) of Calgary, Alberta and  Sylvia Guy (Dan) of Stoney Creek. Great-grandpa of Taija & Seth Graham, Solay & Foster Tannahill, Joshua May and Mason & Evan Guy. Sadly missed by brother Harold May (Doris) of Stratford, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.  Predeceased by daughter Beth Love,  sister Marie Cochrane and brother Ken May.  The family will receive friends at the May Funeral Home, Markdale on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., where a funeral service will be held Friday, January 17th at 1:30 p.m.

Beloved wife of John Campbell whom she married in 1958.  Loving mother of Brian and Barb of Atwood, Colleen Vetor of Waterloo, Brenda Campbell and partner Mike Graham of Sedgewick Alberta, Karen and Wayne Rea of Cambridge, Sharon Campbell of Atwood.  Special grandma of Samantha, Robert, Michelle, Nelson, Tyler, David, Jonathon, Amanda, Allison, Susan, Tina, Melissa, Amanda, Jason and great-grandma of twelve.  Dear sister of Oscar Weber and Oswald Weber both of Kitchener, Lorraine Weber of Formosa, Mary Ann and Walter Reitzel of Millbank, Marlene and William Fay of Waterloo, Sister Irene Weber of St. Catharines, Allan and Audrey Weber of Kincardine.  Fondly remembered by Gary Vetor, sisters-in-law Margaret Weber, Ruth McCullouch, brother-in-law Roy McCullouch and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Charles and Irene (Kestner) Weber, step-mother Margaret (Dolan) Weber and her sister Doreen in infancy.

Inger Foss-PedersonInger passed away peacefully at Hampton Terrace, Burlington on Wednesday, January 8, 2014.  She is joined together with her husband Arne on the day that would have been their 59th wedding anniversary.  Mom to Pia, Jan (Tanja) and Ann Farquhar (Ed).  She was the proud Farmor to Sara and Mormor to Caitlin and Brad.  Survived by her brother Borge Jensen (Aase).  Inger will be missed by family and friends in Canada and Denmark.  Born in Denmark Inger immigrated to Canada in 1957.  She was always proud to have become Canadian but never forgot her Danish heritage.  A Private Family Service will take place.  The family would like to thank Dr. A. Ruth, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed today in her own home in Dutton, surrounded by family. Ruth was known by all as a loving and caring person who gave of herself and always reached out in kindness to others. She was both wise and generous and will be missed by all. Ruth is survived by her spouse, James, and children Phyllis Laufman of Dutton, Jacqueline Fountain of London, Jeffrey Fountain and Jennifer (spouse) of Hamilton, Cheryl Fountain-Gore and Randolph (spouse) of Iona Station and Eric Fountain of London. She is survived by her beloved grandchildren Kaitlyn and Ayden, Dylan and Braiden. Ruth was the youngest of 16 children born to Herbert and Wilhelmina Clappison. She is survived by her siblings Philip Clappison and wife Frances of Waterloo, Fred Clappison and wife Mina of Coburg, Bob Clappison of Alberta, Don Clappison of Florida, Peter Clappison of Kitchener and Paul Clappison and wife Irene of Hamilton. Also survived by Norma Clappison (Herbert deceased) of Kitchener, Jack Downey (husband to Muriel deceased) of Gananoque, Garry Dunk husband of Rhonda deceased) of Kitchener. Karen is survived by her loving husband Emil, cherished children Derek (Sara) of Port Dover, Krystal of Langton, daughter-in-law Joanne and precious grandchildren Steven, Brian, Nathan, Emil Jr. and Shinese. Karen is also survived by her siblings Duane (Char), Dave (Gail), Sandy (Jim), Patti (Glen), Diane and sister-in-law Margo all of Winnipeg. Karen loved to travel, go on scenic rides, had a thing for shoes and a love for her mini horse Annie. A loving person who would much rather give than receive. Hunter- Suddenly with his family by his side at the Bluewater Health-Palliative Care Unit, Sarnia, on Friday December 13, 2013. Sam Hunter, age 61 years of Corunna. Loving father of Dave Hunter of Windsor, Bo Hunter and Tawny Cooper both of Sarnia. He will be lovingly remembered by; his grandchildren, Madison Hunter and Blayd James; his brothers, Dave Hunter (Sue) of Jersyville and Ed Hunter (Linda) of Hamilton and by his sister, Pat Mackan (Mike) of Jarvis. He was predeceased by his parents Sam and Rose Hunter. Sam was and avid motorcycle enthusiast having owned and enjoyed many Harley’s over the years. He worked for many years at Cabot Carbon and was a huge sports fan and player having played football, hockey and baseball and was a devout Cincinnati Bengals fan. Born in Cambridge, Pat was the daughter of Angeline Ball (nee Godbout) and the late Jean-Marie Gignac. Much loved daughter-in-law of Pauline Cunning. Beloved wife of Al Cunning. Loving mother of Brandy Grumdstrom of Hamilton and Sherry Grumdstrom of Waterloo. Proud grandmother of Justyn, Raymond, Chelsea and Nicholas. Great-grandmother to Mariah. Dear sister to Richard Gignac, Pauline Gignac (late Stefan), Rachel Gignac (Jerry), Mark Gignac, Anita Reed (Kathleen) and the late Ivan Gignac. Ernie HudsonAfter a brief illness on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton, Ernie Hudson of Ancaster in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Read) for 47 years. Loved father of Ernie (Carine) Hudson. Dear Grandpa of Ben Hudson. Loved brother of Diane (Bernie) Homonick, Jeff (Donna) Hudson, and Brian (Michelle) Hudson. Dear son-in-law of Joyce Read and brother-in-law of Norm (Barb) Read, Dave (Liz) Read, Bob Read, and Brian (Lisa) Read. Also missed by his aunt Lori Gibbons. Predeceased by his parents Ernie and Doris Hudson, father-in-law Art Read, aunt Edith Daniels and uncle John Gibbons. Ernie was a retired elementary school teacher with the Hamilton Wentworth School Board and an avid outdoorsman. He was a member and volunteer at Ancaster Senior Achievement Centre (ASAC), where he participated in the Golden Swing Band, was a leader of the Hiking Group, and was the District Coordinator of the 55+ Games. Cremation has taken place. GERVAIS, AngelinePassed away peacefully, in Sudbury on Thursday, November 28th, 2013 at the age of 101 years.  Wife of the late Léo Gervais.  Daughter of the late Arthur and of the late Albina (née Delorme) Chevrier.  Beloved mother of the late Rhéal, Benoit (Colette), Marcel (Lucille) both of Sudbury, Rita Dupuis of St-Catharines, René (Noëlla) of Capreol, Jeannine Lebrun (late Norm), Bernadette Green (Rick) both of Windsor, Roger (Peggy) of Vancouver Island, Léo (Lynn) of Hamilton, Lucien (Joanne) of Manitouwadge, Emile (Thea) of Sarnia, Suzanne Proulx (Réjean) of Kaslo, B.C. and Richard of Coniston.  Dear sister of Albina Bédard (late Joe) of Sudbury.  Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Arthur Napoléon, Alfred, Marguerite Genier (late Telesphore), Mariange Chevrier, Ernest (Eini of Sudbury) and Emile (late Beverly). Bette is survived by her adoring husband Jim, cherished daughters Jodi of Hamilton and Amy (Richard) Dohar of Petawawa and precious grandchildren Jeffrey, Emily and Evan. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Lenna and sister Phyllis. Bette loved to travel; one of her favourite destinations was Florida. She was a Lions member and most important a full time wife, mother and grandmother. FOLEY, Helen Lucille (nee Pankhurst) passed away following a courageous battle with cancer on December 4, 2013 at Norfolk General Hospital in her 61st year. Loving mother of April (Jeff Burroughs) of Hamilton, dear sister and sister-in-law of Neil (Peggy) , Dave (Joyce) , Joyce, Ruth (Blake), Barry and Barb. Honoured grandmother of Torin, Tyler and Maegan. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Laura, brothers Fred, Archie and Perry, sisters Miriam and Jane, and brothers-in-law Stewart and Don and grandaughter Kaitlyn. Lucille loved her game of scrabble with long time friend Dorothy. She is loved and will be missed. Cremation has taken place.
