Passed away peacefully at Carpenter Hospice, Burlington on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the age of 78, with his beloved wife Karen of 30 years by his side. Dear father of Cristina, Claudia (Pete), Andrea (Les), Lindy (Gord), and Alexandra (Mike). Proud Tata to Skye, Lake, Poppy, Brady, Sofie, Madilyn, Zachary, Trevor, and Myles. Survived by his brother Sebastian (Rosita) and his sisters Ingrid and Maria Teresa. Predeceased by his brother Carlos. Godfather to Paulina. Guillermo “Bill” was known and respected for his passionate work as an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in pediatrics at McMaster Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Isabel StananoughtSuddenly at the Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday, October 19, 2013, Isabel Stananought of Waterdown, in her 82nd year. Beloved mother of the late Heather Holden, Judy (Russ) Ariss, and Pamela (Mike) Van Kuik. Dear Grandma of Rebecca (Matt), Victoria, Kaitlin, Amy, and James. Will also be missed by her sister Audrey (George) Crake as well as by nieces, nephews and friends. Isabel was an active member of the Waterdown Seniors. Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Family Centre. Donna Hiscott (nee Whalen) -

After a 2 year battle with cancer Donna passed peacefully in Ottawa on Tuesday October 15, 2013 in her 64th year.  Survived by her husband of 39 years, Joe Hiscott. Loving mother of Laura and Ashley Hiscott.  Sister of Cathy Fenje (Howard Rees), Kevin Whalen (Debbie) and Brian Whalen.  Predeceased by sister Lynn Barbowski (John).  Donna is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A reception for Donna\\\’s friends and family will be held at the Heritage Funeral Home at 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, Ontario on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.  Interment of her ashes will take place at the Christ Church, 1294 McNab Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 1 pm followed by a reception at the church hall until 3:30 pm .  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, those who wish may contribute to the Down Syndrome Association – National Capital Region.(www.dsancr.com) Condolences may be made at: www.heritagefh.ca

On October 15, 2013 at Shalom Manor, Grimsby, Jacoba DeBolster died peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She is now safely in the arms of Jesus. She is the beloved wife of Henry R. DeBolster and loving mother of: Geri and Marty VanEngen, Bert and Jane DeBolster, Nel and Andy Straatsma, Len and Elaine DeBolster and Joanne and Jim Teeuwsen. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by her dear sister Nel Vlot in The Netherlands and her many friends. Visitation will be held at MOUNTAINVIEW CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 290 Main St. East, Grimsby on Thursday, October 17th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Following a private interment, a Memorial Service will be held at the Mountainview Church on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Donations may be made to Redeemer University College. Bea ThompsonWe are sad to announce the passing of Bea who was taken home to the Lord on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. Bea was a wonderful mom to Bryan. Beloved daughter of Cor and Corrie Langhout and loving sister of the late Cornelis Langhout, Dia (Wayne) Pembleton, Mary (Tim) Leduc, Ingrid (Tim) Boaz, and Stephen (Elaine) Langhout. Will also be missed by Bryan’s father, Dave and his parents Bill Thompson and Myrtle Richmond. Remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews. Bea appreciated all her many friends and extended family. The care and support shown to her will be lovingly treasured. Cicero, her beloved cat, provided Bea with unconditional love and happiness. Friends may visit with the family at CORNERSTONE CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 353 Stone Church Road East, Hamilton on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Following the Interment Service at Mount Hamilton Cemetery a reception will be held in the church hall.
