March 21, 1918 – March 12, 2019

Passed peacefully with his loving wife Edith by his side. Known as the “Love Birds” they were married 77 years, and were inseparable. Loving father of 4 daughters Judy (John Grineau), Marlene (Gary Vanlith), Sandra (Wayne Rennie) and Susie (Domenic De Santis). Proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren and great grandfather to 14. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces & nephews. Joe passed away 9 days short of his 101st birthday; he served in WW2, and retired as a Ford Employee of 38 years. Special thanks to Gore & Carol Joe’s two angels who cared for him deeply and loved him immensely. Special thanks also to Y Emara (HDGH) staff and all the PSW’s for their care & compassion. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 5-8pm. A private service will be held with immediate family at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Joe may be made in appreciation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
