After a battle with Leukemia, GERALD ALBERT GOUDIE, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012 at C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health in Petrolia.   Born September 17, 1943 the son of the late Albert Lorne “Bert” (1970) and Mary Edith (nee Cowan)(2007) Goudie.   Gerald lived his whole life at his present family home in Wyoming.  Gerald retired from CN Rail after 35 years service.  He was a valued member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 388 in Wyoming for 38 years, volunteering with their sports programs and social activities.  Gerald served on the board of St. John’s Anglican Church, Wyoming until he became ill this past spring.  Gerald spent many hours at the local library, golfing, and socializing with many friends at local coffee shops.  He will be truly missed by his cousins Alex and Mildred Cowan, Gordon and Kathy Gould, Jim and Karen Gould, Robert and Janice Gould all of Petrolia, the late Donna Sackett (1951), Alma and Charles Berridge of Lethbridge, Norma and Alan Borbridge of Crossfield, Alberta, Marion and Grant Leavitt of Calgary, and James Albert(Dell) and Laverne Sackett of Calgary, he also leaves many more cousins, friends, and neighbours.  Visitors will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4:30 at the Wyoming Chapel, 650 Broadway St., Wyoming where a funeral service will be held Monday, August 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.  Rev. Nancy Adams officiating.  Interment in Wyoming Cemetery.   As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the C.E.E.
