GLOVER, Ralph A., a longtime resident of Port Stanley, passed   away at the Elgin Manor, R.R.#1, St. Thomas  on Monday, May 14, 2012, in his 93rd year.  Beloved husband of the late Madeline (nee Berry) Glover (2006).  Dearly loved father of Patricia Girard and her husband David of Lambeth, and cherished grandfather of Andrea Girard and Matthew Girard.  Brother of the late (infant) Perry Glover.  Born in St. Thomas, September 9, 1919, he was the son of the late Ernest and Margaret Sarah “Lassie” (nee Moore) Glover.  Ralph retired as manager of the L.C.B.O. in Port Stanley.  He was a member of Christ Church (Anglican), Port Stanley, where he served on the Board for many years, and in earlier years was a member of the choir.  Ralph was a member of St. Mark’s Lodge #94, A.F. & A.M., Port Stanley and was one of the founding members of the R.O.M.E.O. Group.  Friends will be received by the family at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-8:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Christ Church (Anglican), 283 Colborne St., Port Stanley on Thursday, May 17th at 10:30 a.m.  Interment to follow in Union Cemetery.  Memorial donations to Christ Church (Anglican), the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation or charity of one’s choice gratefully acknowledged.
