GLOIN, Fay (nee Brown), a resident of the Village of Glendale Crossing, London, formerly of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at LHSC, Victoria Hospital on Thursday, May 24, 2012, in her 83rd year.  Dearly loved mother of Debbie Schieck (Martin) of London, Susan Pearson (Jim) of Shedden, and Bill Gloin (Lila) of London.  Also fondly remembered by 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  Fay was the last surviving member of her own immediate family, having been predeceased by five sisters, Mary Brown, Hazel Brodie, Dorothy Dell, Ev Gramlich and Gwen Waite, and by three brothers, Bruce, Silas, and Shelburne Brown.  Born in Port Stanley, ON, October 2, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John and Theresa (nee Collard) Brown.  Fay was a former employee of the Housekeeping Dept. at the Memorial Hospital, St. Thomas.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation or funeral service.  A private graveside service will be held at Elmdale Memorial Park, St. Thomas.  Memorial donations to Parkinson Society Canada gratefully acknowledged.  Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
