GERMAN, Mrs. Aileen (nee Bradt) of St. Thomas, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, October 16, 2014, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of Louis F. “Lou” German. Dearly loved mother of Debbie Bukacheski of Ottawa, and Mark German of St. Thomas. Cherished grandmother of Nathan Jackson-German of Kitchener. Dear sister of Gladys Harvey of London, late Muriel Groulx, late Stanley, late Leslie “Les”, and late Donald Bradt. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in Dunwich Township, Ontario on January 20, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn (nee Smith) Bradt. Aileen was a member of Holy Angels’ Roman Catholic Church, St. Thomas. Relatives and friends will be received by the family at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Sunday, October 19th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. (Prayers at 4:30 p.m.). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Angels’ Roman Catholic Church, St. Thomas on Monday, October 20th at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Holy Angels’ Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Holy Angels’ Church Restoration Fund gratefully acknowledged.
