Donald Henry Frederick Frook of Hanover, formerly of Elmwood, passed away at Hanover & District Hospital on Monday, January 5, 2015 in his 72nd year.
Don was born in Brant Township, the son of the late John and Mildred (Procknow) Frook and spent his career as a carpenter.
Mourning Don’s loss is his wife Bernice (Rody) of Hanover; daughters Rebecca (Tim) Becker and Michele (Bob) Hettrick, all of Hanover, Dawn Marie (Jim) Magennis of Elmira and son Dan (Nicole) of Fergus. Missing their grandfather are his grandchildren Alicia (fiancé Cliff) of Kitchener, Ryan (Vicky) of Toronto, Turner and Mackenzie of Hanover, Alexandra and Hannah of Elmira, and Ian of Fergus. Don leaves behind his sister Jean (Virgil) McNabb of Durham and his brother Richard (Lou-Ann) of St. Mary’s. He also leaves to grieve his passing, sisters-in-law Dorothy (Bev) Frook of Walkerton and Helen Leifso (Hartmut Kayser) of Waterloo, as well as brothers-in-law Bob (Karen) Rody of Maryhill and Peter (Ruth Anne) Rody of Lake Rosalind.
A memorial service celebrating Don’s life will be held at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 356 – 9th Street, Hanover on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. John Polacok officiating. Inurnment in Hanover Cemetery.
