FRIZZEL, BrianIt is with great sadness that the family announces Brian’s passing on Friday, January 3rd, 2014 at the age of 58 years at the Maison Vale Hospice in Sudbury.  Son of the late Albert Elden and of the late Margaret (née Lochead) Frizzell.  Dear brother of Linda Frizzell and Tanya Yilla both of Victoria, B.C., Sherry Frizzell (Lynn) of Sudbury and Susan Beaulieu (Mark) of North Bay.  Warm hearted uncle of Jerid, Sydney, Savana and Tsehai. Brian was a longtime resident and employee with the City of Greater Sudbury; he took great pride in his position of “Hydrant Man”. He felt very fortunate having his co-workers/friends’ support and comfort him during the past year, especially during his brief stay at the hospice. Sadly missed by his best buddy Keith, his many special friends in Garson as well as everyone at the Centerville Apartments. Brian was a huge sports fan and longtime supporter of the Sudbury Wolves. Thank you to the players who paid Brian a surprise visit at the hospice.  The family would like to express their gratitude to Chantal, Lyle, Christina, Katie, Jackie and all the wonderful staff at the Maison Vale Hospice for the loving care and attention shown towards Brian during his brief but unforgettable stay.  Brian was a very special brother, uncle and friend to many…the world is a better place because of his great sense of humour and his big heart.  In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.  Donations (by cheque only) to Maison Vale Hospice are appreciated.
