Peacefully passed away at the I.O.O.F. Senior’s Home in Barrie on 19 December 2014. Bob was 78 years young at his passing. Bob leaves behind his children Susan, Tom, Don, Karen, and Celia. Grandfather to Robert Bradley, Edmund, Jennifer, Zachary, Jack, Megan, Vanessa, Robert Royce, Andrew, Paul Joseph, Wesley Robert, Cody and April. Great Grandfather to Neelie and Murphy, Asher and Addison, Christopher and Nikita. Bob is predeceased by his loving wife Lee Fox (2009), his parents George W. and Celia Fox, and his sister Marguerite Forsyth. Dad worked for better than 30 years for IBM Canada and on about his retirement he enjoyed his lodge work, fixing computers and printers, but most of all, he loved children. He loved to dress up like Santa Claus for special events like single parents and children. He built a giant snow slide for us and the neighbours, and he worked very hard to get playground equipment for handicapped children. Anything to make a child smile, dad would do. We all know that deep down, there was a child inside. We will especially miss that twinkle in his eye. Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, December 22, 2014, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., immediately followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the I.O.O.F. Senior’s Home in Barrie (cheques only at the funeral home please).

God Speed Dad – Mom’s waiting.
