Peacefully, on Thursday, August 16, 2012, Harriet left the loving arms of her children to be met by the embracing arms of her adoring husband and our Lord. Grieving her loss are her children Helen (George) Bailey, Jackie (Glenn) Bailey, Jim (Gwen) Bailey, Vicki (Bill) Johnston, Bill Ford and daughter-in-law Diane Bailey. She is the grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, sister to Bill (June) Gilbert, sister-in-law Donalda Gilbert and Aunt to several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Harvey (2009), son Paul (2005), and daughter Betty Ann (1968), plus her parents Richard and Ruth Gilbert (Drake), brother Charles Gilbert and sister Ruth Ann Harmsworth. Harriet lived her life full of love for her family and was an amazingly strong woman that overcame many of life’s challenges with much determination. Harriet and her family resided on Mandaumin Sideroad living the farm life from 1967 to 1995, when she and her husband Harvey moved to the Wyoming Royaleigh to live out their final years together.
