FITZGERALD: Lynda Darlean – After a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer, surrounded by family and friends, our Darlean passed on June 8th at the age of 50.   Darlean will be remembered for her unconditional love and devotion to her husband Kevin, and precious daughter Hailey.   Dearly loved by her mother Heather, sister Debbie Anderson and dear friend John Ellingson.  Lovingly remembered by her father David Anderson, wife Merle, brothers Ryan & Kristjan. Predeceased by maternal Grandmother Jean (Bub) Langley and In-laws Mary & Lawrence Fitzgerald all of whom were much loved by Darlean.  Darlean was a valued employee of FedEx since 1987 and will be sadly missed by her co-workers and friends.  Her hobbies included knitting, baking, reading and Stampin’ Up Card making.  She loved her days at the farm and early mornings with a cup of tea at the North ranch which she called her “Happy Place”. Darlean’s volunteer activities included St. Patrick Elementary School (Schomberg) and the Catholic Women’s League.   Friends may call at Mangan Funeral Home, 332 Osborne St., Beaverton (705-426-5777) on Friday June 13th from 2 – 4 p.m. &  7 – 9 p.m.  Funeral Mass, Saturday June 14th  at 11 a.m. St. John’s Catholic Church, 1045 Portage Rd., Kirkfield, Ontario.   Internment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Victoria Road, Ontario.  Our thanks to the Cancer/Palliative Care Units at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket for the compassion and respect shown to our Darlean, as well as those who cared for her at Princess Margaret Hospital.
