FISHERwebIvan Fisher, of Hanover, suddenly at Hanover and District Hospital, on Friday, June 28, 2013.  He was 77.

Born in Normanby Township to the late Milton and Emelia (nee Wettlaufer) Fisher.

Survived by wife Betty (nee Allensen) of Hanover, daughters Sharon (Rheo) Machina of Normanby Township, Sheila Fisher (Tom Zimmerman) of Prince Edward County, step daughters Yvonne (Andrew) Magwood of Hanover, Karen (Robert) Grein of Wingham, Nancy Campbell of Hanover, grandchildren Randee Machina, Devin Machina and step grandchildren Lauralea Magwood, Vincent Magwood, Curtis Grein, Christina Grein, Tyler Campbell, Travis Campbell and Dylan Campbell. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers Lloyd (Evelyn) Fisher of Barrie, Harold (Wilma) Fisher of Harriston, sisters Mildred (Lloyd) Koch of Atwood, Merelda (Larry) Lantz of Neustadt, sisters in law Ima Fisher of Hanover and Shirley Fisher of Eckville, Alberta. Predeceased by his first wife Hilde (Haack), infant son, brothers Carl and Aaron Fisher.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from     2 – 4 pm, and Sunday, June 30, 2013  from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 01, 2013 at 11:00 am, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Ayton. Rev. David Wunderlich officiating.  Interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Lauderbach.

Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or  the Canadian Food Grains Bank would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.  Register book available at
