Fawcett, KayPassed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham, on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Kathleen (Kay) May Fawcett (nee Wells) of Durham formerly of Markdale in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Russell Fawcett. Dear mother of Dorn Fawcett of Holland Centre, Doreen Cargoe of Markdale and daughter-in-law Gloria Fawcett of Berkeley. Sadly missed by ten grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by sons Lennard and Douglas, daughters-in-law Betty and Nola, son-in-law Elmer Cargoe, brothers Edward, Gilpen and Albert Wells, and sisters Lydia Border, Ruth Arnott and Vimmy Sinclair.  Kay was six years old when her mother died – at that time she was raised by George and Josie Warling and in later years by Elmer and Edna Warling. She married Russell Fawcett of Wodehouse in 1932. They had a family of four. Russell passed away in 1998. Kay moved to Markdale and later to Rockwood Terrace. Friends may call at the May Funeral Home, 63 Main St. E.,Markdale Ontario N0C 1H0 on Friday from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., where a funeral service will be held Saturday, March 16th at 11:00 am.
