Whyte: Harrold Kenneth of Flesherton in his 84th year resting at Fawcett Funeral Home, Flesherton
December 17, 1929 – August 31, 2014
Harold is embarking on a new journey in the After-Light. Harold was a wonderful loving man – as a Dad(to Kim), companion(to Christine), and good friend(to many people). His talents were numerous – Photographer, Videographer(film and digital) and a Creative Inventor. His loves included all of nature, birds, music and his home – Cedar Hollow Studio/Gallery. He was a great athlete – cross-country skiing, hiking and bike riding. His life-long accomplishments are many. Graduated with the class of 1949 from Ridley College(a Tiger); he acquired a wealth of experience through ten years in the newspaper industry(Toronto Telegram & the Star); a creative illustrator for Canadian magazines; television(CBC); industrial film-making, docu-dramas and video commissions. He was a master of balancing light, colour and composition. He changed with the times, mastering computer technology in his 80’s; he believed technology heightened his works, but it was always about the light and Harold always waited patiently for the perfect light to bring a scene magically to life. And, what a wonderful life he had! We will all miss him greatly. A celebration of Harold’s life will be held in the future.
