At 73 years of age on June 2nd, 2018 we said goodbye to our loving husband, father and Papanone at Hospice Erie Shores, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He died peacefully surrounded by his family, including the four-legged members Tucker and Emmett. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years Adrienne (nee Young), formerly of Burlington, his two sons Sammy (Tracie) of Fort Langley, BC. and Tony (Pam) of Belle River. Cherished Papanone of Sammy J., Nathan and Matthew of Fort Langley, BC. Dear brother of Mary Ann Finelli (Joe) of Grimsby, and Bill Fasullo (Bev) of Burlington & sister-in-law Janice (Waterdown). Loved son-in-law of Joan Young (the late Arthur) of Burlington, and brother-in-law of Elizabeth Palmieri (Adrian) of St. Catherines, and Cathy Young (Arnie) of Chelsea, Massachusettes. Pre-deceased by his parents Sam and Beatrice of Carlisle, his sisters Masie Piercey, Angie Grice and his brother Joe Fasullo. He will be sorely missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. After 35 years of farming in Carlisle, Sam enjoyed retirement in LaSalle. He loved travelling, cooking and drinking wine with those who were dear to him. Family was very important to Sam, especially spending time with his beloved grandchildren. Special thanks to Dr. Fung, Dr. Morvay & Dr. Fortin for their care and treatment over the past 2 years. We would also like to thank the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital, Paramed, St. Elizabeth and VON for their care and for putting Sam at ease. Words are simply not enough to express our appreciation to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Residential Home, Erie Shores for making Sam’s final journey a peaceful and comfortable one. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Erie Shores or a charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visiting Friday June 22nd, 2018 from 6-9pm at
