Sherryn Ann Farrow, January 3rd, 1962 – August 17th, 2013

It is with great sadness we share the news of Sherryn’s passing peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones over the last four weeks at Hospice Barrie. We thank the amazing staff who helped make this difficult time so extra special for our family.

Survived by her loving devoted mother Beth Gibbons and predeceased by her father Calvin Gibbons, Sherryn was the proudest mother to sons Bradley and Michael and wife Shannon, who blessed her with two incredible granddaughters, Stella and Emerson. She had fun growing up in Barrie with her big family, sisters Janet, Cathy (Rick), brothers Tom (Gayla), Marshall (Chris), Terry, Aunt and Great auntie to many nieces and nephews, she was so caring and supportive to us all.

Sherryn enjoyed her career of over 25 years of service at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie. She knew everyone and made such a difference with her spunk for life and caring nature to all around her.

Courageously Sherryn fought her battle of cancer on and off for the past 6 years with fierce determination, never giving up hope. We are so proud of her incredible tenacity and strength, teaching us all to live life to the fullest.  She will be remembered for many special moments shared with family and friends, forever in our loving memories, we will miss her dearly. All our love.

A celebration of Sherryn’s life will be held on Saturday August 31st at ANAF, 7 George St. Barrie. Visitation at 11am, Service will begin at 12pm with refreshments to follow.
