Falkins-Ruby Melissa (Anderson) of St. Thomas, passed away on Friday, January 9th, 2015, at her late residence, Elgin Manor, in her 91st year. Dear wife of the late Raymond Falkins (2010) and loving mother of Barbara McLean of Fingal. Loved grandmother of Jeffery (Betty) Campbell of St. Thomas, and James (Kelly) McLean of Alberta. Great grandmother of Shelby-Lynn, Kelsey-Ann and Talaya Emily. Dear daughter of the late Henry and Emily (Bezanson) Anderson. Ruby was born in Billtown, Nova Scotia on September 30th, 1924. She is the last surviving member of her family. Predeceased by sisters, Fannie Pineo, Adeline Haley and brother Herman Anderson. Sister-in-law of Maxine Porté, Lorraine Charlton and Jack Falkins. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ruby came to Ontario in 1946 when she married Ray. They moved to Alberta in 1954 and returned to Ontario in 1959. Ruby and Ray owned and operated the Wendie Leigh Motel for a number of years. She was a past member of the Tri-Lake Historical Automobile Association and Rebecca’s of Glanworth. Rudy lived a wonderful, full life, love her family, grandsons and great granddaughters. She was a loving caring person and was always there to help anyone who entered her life. She will be greatly missed by many.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the North America Railroad Museum of St. Thomas, London Health Science Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of choice.
