Lubo passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on April 25th, 2017 due to Synovial Sarcoma Cancer, moments before his 24th birthday. Throughout this past year, his optimism and character inspired all, he never let this disease define who he was. Lubo wanted to be remembered for his deep love of music and overall passion for life. He shined through his academic achievements in Science and had an appetite for sports throughout his time in university. Lubo envisioned a future where he would be able to give back to the world through a career in Public Health Awareness, a long life of travel and much more.
Lubo Teshome Faisa was born in North York, Ontario, Canada on April 26th, 1993. He attended Worthington, Ohio Elementary school, Lutheran High School of Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, and University of Ottawa, Canada. He is survived by his loving partner Quinn Philippe, his mother Betenesh Kitila Obsia, father Teshome Ebba Faisa and brother Jalaal Faisa. Memorial Services will be held at 211 Bronson Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, K1R 6H5 on Friday April 28, 2017 from 6-9 PM (EST) as well as at the Oromo Christian Church of Toronto at 330 Bellamy Road North, Scarborough, Ontario Canada on Sunday April 30, 2017 from 3-5 PM.
