47 years, passed away from a rare, progressive, untreatable lung disease on April 9, 2013. Todd died as he lived, surrounded by family and close friends who guided him through his peaceful passing. He was an amazing man whose biggest legacy was in making friends and connecting people. Todd was a respected home builder and realtor in the Windsor area and proudly served as President of the Windsor’s Home Builders Association “ 1997”. Loving son of Jim Ellis and the late Rosemary Dufresne (Paterson), step-son of Bonnie Ellis and Michael Dufresne, brother to Kimberly Ellis-Hale, Criss Ann Ellis-Sandre (Bill), Shannon Ellis-Saini (the late Mani). Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Hotel-Dieu I.C.U for protecting his dignity and providing 5 star treatment to Todd, his family and friends. While Todd would have loved a room full of flowers his desire to leave a legacy was greater, donations to Canadian Mental Health, Bereavement Fund would be appreciated by the family. Todd needed lungs; this was not meant to be. If you would like to honour Todd’s memory with the gift of life please register at: www.ontario.ca/health…organandtissuedonor.
