EDWARDS: Norman of Paris, formerly of Princeton

After a long battle with cancer, Norm passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford with his sister Irene at his side.  Son of the late Douglas and Grace (nee Hutchinson) Edwards.  Predeceased by his wife Joyce (November 11, 2010), two infant sisters and brother Douglas.  Survived by his sisters Irene Brown (late Roy) of Paris, Lois Zarnosky (late Robert) of Leetonia, Ohio, Louise Klukus (Rick) of Lamont, Illinois, and Marie Monken (Wayne) of Frankfort, Illinois.  He will be missed by his friends Al and Betty Parker and Randy and Peggy Crosby of Princeton, Heather and Bob McMillian of Brantford, and also Nancy, Joan and Syd at Penmarvian Retirement Home in Paris, as well as many cousins in Paris.  Norm and Joyce lived in Princeton for many years where he was a custodian at Princeton Public School until his retirement.  His favorite pastime was feeding the birds, squirrels and chipmunks.   Private arrangements with cremation followed by interment at Princeton Cemetery.  If desired, donations in Norm’s memory can be made to the Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford and may be arranged through the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-537-3611.  Personal condolences may also be sent at www.smithleroy.com.  A special thank you to Dr. Gladstone, staff and volunteers at Stedman Hospice, staff at Penmarvian Retirement Home in Paris and staff at Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home in Woodstock.
