At Chesley Park Nursing Home, London, on Tuesday February 5th, 2013, Mrs. Marion Edmondson of London and formerly of Chatham in her 96th    year.  Cherished daughter of the late James and Myrtle Mears.  Beloved wife of the late Frederick (Ted) (1971).  Loving mother of Kathy Parker of London.  She will be lovingly remembered by her six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.  Dear sister of June Currie and her husband Walter of Kitchener.  Predeceased by her sons Mark (2009) and Jim (2012), and her brother Bill (1967).  Marion worked at the Chatham Library for over 25 years.  She enjoyed delivering books to ‘shut ins’ and was a lifelong member of the Women of the Moose in Chatham.  Marion was committed to her community volunteering for such organizations as the Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Heart and Stroke, and Meals on Wheels.  Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710, on Friday February 8th visiting from 7 to 9 p.m.  The funeral service for Mrs. Edmondson will be conducted in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday February 9th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Koppes of Praise Fellowship Church.  Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.  Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, and Meals on Wheels Chatham-Kent.  On-line condolences may be left at
