EDGAR (LECKIE) EDITH MARIE, November 8, 1928 – December 15, 2014. At Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia, Ontario, formerly of Sarnia. Survived by sons Robert Dennis (MaryBeth), Brian, Donald  (Tracy), Kevin  (Deb), Stephen and sister Dorothy Jackson. Greatly missed by 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also survived by sister-in-law Mary Elizabeth Edgar. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years Robert Murray Edgar (2013), parents Robert Neil Leckie (1957) and Edna Blanche Dusten (1976), daughter Brenda (1980), granddaughter Theresa (1984), brothers Robert Leckie Jr. (1985), Raymond Leckie (2002), Clifford Leckie (2012), brother-in-law Howard Jackson (1999), sisters in-law Maureen Leckie (2009), Josephine Leckie (2013), Dorothy Leckie (2013). Also predeceased by brother’s in-law Richard Edgar (1991), Bill Edgar (1997), Phil Palmer (2001), Bud Lee (2006), Eric Edgar (2014), and sisters in-law Violet Edgar, Winifred Edgar (2009), Ruth Palmer (2001) and Marion Lee (2006). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Edith and Murray were longtime members of Sarnia Minor Athletic Association and were inducted into their Hall of Fame. Funeral Service will be held at DUNLOP UNITED CHURCH (757 Rosedale Avenue Sarnia) on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time. Reverend Adam Kilner officiating. Private family interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Sarnia Minor Athletic Association or Dunlop United Church. Arrangements entrusted to the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria Street, Sarnia.
