Dyke, John Stanley passed away on April 6, 2014. John was 63 years old, born in Sarnia to Ruth and Bill Dyke, a little brother to his sister Barbi. From an early age he excelled in sports, collecting trophies for hockey, playing tennis with his Dad, and golfing with his friends. In high school, he competed in track and was captain of the basketball team. He was named an Ontario student leader. John received his BA from the University of Toronto, and then spent a year travelling in Europe, before studying law at Western University. He loved learning, movies, and the beach. He was very close to his Dad, who predeceased him by two weeks. His mom died July 11, 2000. He is loved and remembered by his sister Barbi, and his nephews Brendan and Dillon. Thank you to the staff and friends he made at Twin Lakes and Vision retirement homes, to the caring staff at Bluewater Health, to Dr. Boyle and Dr. Gannon. Arrangements have been entrusted to Smith Funeral Home. A service will be held at a later date.
