Duncan, Isabella of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, January 31st, 2013, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife and best friend of Jack Wolden Duncan and loved mother of Russell Alexander (Doriana) of St. Thomas and Ronald Jack (Bonnie) of Saskatoon. Cherished grandmother of Taylor Nicole and Cassidy Erin Duncan. Predeceased by her brothers the late William Taylor of Hamilton, the late Rev. Alex (Sandy) Taylor of Beamsville and the late James Taylor of Scotland. Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Isabella was born in Aberdeen, Scotland on March 25th, 1931, daughter of the late Alexander and Isabella (Kidd) Taylor. She moved from Scotland to Canada in 1965 and worked for several years as a Business Professor at Fanshawe College. She was a long-time member of The Salvation Army, St. Thomas and past Matron of Flower City Chapter #91 O.E.S.

A private family service will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Monday. Cremation has taken place with private interment of ashes in Elmdale Cemetery.
