DUBUC, AnitaThe family announces with sorrow her passing at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, on Saturday, August 3rd, 2013 at the age of 90 years.  Born in North Bay on May 12th, 1923 to Marius Cholette and Eva Cholette (née Aubry).   Beloved mother of Claude (Francine), Nicole (Barry), Lise, Jocelyne (Bruce) and Marc (Jennifer).  Cherished grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 2.  Long time resident of Noëlville, she joined the Southwind Retirement Home in May 2005.  At the age of 18, she began her career teaching, inspiring many students to succeed.  During her stay at Southwind, she was able to continue teaching french as a second language to the residents.  Anita had a passion for music; she was the director of the student choir of St-Antoine School in Noëlville and participated often in the Kiwanis Festival.  She loved entertaining the residents of Southwind Retirement Home with her songs and social activities. She would always start her day participating at crossword games with her friends.  She appreciated comedy and always had a joke to share with family and friends.  The family wishes to express its sincere appreciation to the staff of Southwind Retirement Home for their kind and compassionate care given to Anita. In keeping with Anita’s wishes, there will be no visitation.  A private celebration will be held at Southwind Retirement Home.  Donations (by cheque only) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
