Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on March 16, 2014 at 93 years of age.  Finally reunited after almost 22 years, with her beloved husband Desmond (1992). Cherished mother of David (Cheryl) and Susan Harris (Fred). Loving grandmother of Christopher (Kayley), Taralyn, Alyssa and Olivia. Devoted daughter of the late William & Jessie Osborne. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews in Scotland and England. Elsie was a devoted former member of Riverside Presbyterian Church – now R.P.C. Congregation. She was also involved with the Trefoild Guild of the Girl Guides of Canada.  The family wishes to thank the staff of Extendicare Southwood Lakes for their care and compassion.  A special thank you to Dr. Bagga, Dr. Aoun and the nurses of 7W at W.R.H. – Ouellette Campus.  Elsie will be lovingly remembered by all those who knew and loved her. If you so desire, donations to the Windsor & Essex County Cancer Center Foundation or Hands for Haiti c/o Frank Chauvin would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Thursday 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service Friday at 10 am at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD. East Windsor (519-969-5841). Interment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
