Davey-Larry Charles of Sparta passed away peacefully, at his late residence, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, in his 64th year. Dearly loved husband of Kathy (Blancher) Davey and loved father of Tracey and her husband Craig Noble of St. Thomas and Larry and his wife Sylvie Davey of Sparta. Much loved “Papa” of Craig Jr., Melanie, Chase, Raine and Emmerae. Dear brother of Jim Kloosterman and his wife Marie of Cardinal and Susan Hill of St. Thomas. Predeceased by 2 brothers Ted and John Kloosterman. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Larry was born in London on February 20th, 1950 the son of the late Cal and Agatha (Kloosterman) Davey. He was a retired baker with the St. Thomas Psychiatric Hospital, where he was famous for his brownies. Larry was a member of the Southern Ontario Street Rodders and the Old Aylmer Cruisers.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Sparta Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
