Peacefully, at home surrounded by her family on October 2, 2017 at 84 years of age. Beloved wife of the late John (2005).  Loving mother of Margaret D’Asti, Monica and husband Cy Poisson, Julia D’Asti, Michael and wife Urszula D’Asti and Matthew and wife Laura D’Asti. Cherished grandmother of Kate, Mark, Bradley, Janelle, Leah, Heather (Michael O’Bright), Elizabeth, Alyssa and Nicholas. Dearest daughter of the late Veronica and Edward Lyng. Dear sister of James, husband of the late Louise Lyng (Carol), late Kevin (2012), survived by wife Sandra Lyng, Brian and wife Elizabeth Lyng, Fr. John Lyng and the late Gerald Lyng (1981), survived by wife Sheila McDermott. Sister-in-law of the late Marguerite (late John) D’Asti, late Mary (Joe) DiSalvia and Carmel D’Asti. Ann will be greatly missed by her cat Steve. Ann was a past employee of the Essex County Public Library. Special thanks to the compassionate staff of Bayshore Home Health Care Services for their care which helped us honour our mother’s wish to remain in her home. If you so desire, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.  Visiting Thursday 7-9pm and Friday 3-5pm and 7-9pm with prayers Friday 7:30pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Saturday family and friends are invited to meet at Sacred Heart Church (219 Sacred Heart, LaSalle) after 9:30am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30am.  Cremation to follow.
