20140605_204834-1 (2)Melville Cecil Dailey, a lifelong resident of Elderslie Township, passed away peacefully with family at Lee Manor, Owen Sound on Saturday, May 31, 2014 in his 85th year.

Beloved husband of Edna. Loving father of Glen of Red Deer, AB, Heather (Ron Sowerby) of Goderich, Laureen (Glenn Ralph) of Port Moody, BC, and Kevin (Nancy Cabral) of Orangeville. Mel will be fondly remembered by his sister Lee (Blake) Williams of Aurora and brother-in-law Murray Clark of Owen Sound. He is predeceased by his sister Veda Clark and his parents, Cecil and Lola (Hemstock) Dailey.

A Celebration of Mel’s life will be held at Cedar Rail Camp (#015259 Grey Bruce Line, R.R. #3 Chesley) on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 2 – 5 p.m. Inurnment in Chesley Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
