Cunningham, Philip canobitsPeacefully passed at his home with family by his side, on May 29, 2013 at the age of 86.  Loving husband of 67 years to Lois (nee Hall).  Beloved father of Anna Marie Warriner (Glen), Deborah Hansen (Sid) and Nancy Freeman.  Cherished “Papa” of Lee, Amanda (Brian), Ashley, Rob (Koryn), Evan, Mallory (Jason), Jenna (Mark), great-granddaughter, Lily and step-granddaughter, Selena.  Dear brother of Marion Kennington and the late Gordon and Lloyd Cunningham.  Phillip will be missed by several nieces and nephews.  Special thank you to his niece, Marion “Bunny” for her care and support.  He will be remembered for his love of Stock Car Racing, car 101, and his negotiating skills as president of the Steel Workers Union (U.S.A.) for 18 years.  Phillip had a passion for story-telling, which he also shared with his CB Radio buddies. Phillip had a great connection and love for all animals particularly canine friends.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the MORGAN FUNERAL HOME.  A private service will be held at a later date.  As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Lioness Club of St. Davids for Guide Dog Fund.
