Suddenly at home in Wallacetown, on Saturday January 10, Walter Joseph Couture in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Rhea [Coulter] Couture to whom he was married for over 57 years. Survived by his daughter Elaine and her husband Larry Howard of Wallacetown. Grandfather to Melanie of Sudbury, Craig and Matthew of Wallacetown. Survived by his brother Fred of Thamesville and sisters Bella Leach [late Charlie] of London and Evelyn Spotton [late Ray] of Chatham., Wilfrid and Marie Coulter of Sarnia. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by an infant daughter Eileen, brothers Clement [Grace] of Waterloo, Hector [Dormalea] of Missouri, and a sister Phyllis Simmers [Harold] of London. He was the son of the late Almina Labadie and Dolphis Couture. Walter farmed many years and was an automotive mechanic, having worked many years for James Bennet Motors in Dutton and Lyle Cook Automotive in St Thomas. Friends will be received at the Arn Funeral Home 193 Shackleton St. Dutton 519-762-2416 Tuesday 6 – 9 where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 14 at 11:00 am.
