CouplandDorisfolderDoris Mae Coupland (Annett) (nee Dyke) passed away peacefully at North Lambton Lodge, Forest, on Friday, June 20, 2014, at the age of 90. Dear wife of the late Ralph Annett (1983) and the late Jack Coupland (2011). Loving mother of Joan Annett of Sarnia, Ross and Shumei Annett of Brooks, Alberta, Jeanne Annett of St. Albert, Alberta, Robert and Carol Annett of Petrolia, and Bill Annett of Brooks, Alberta, and step-mother of Margaret Stanbridge, Karen Coupland, Doug Coupland, and Scott and Jill Coupland, all of London. Doris will be missed by her thirteen grandchildren and four step-grandchildren, and her fourteen great grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren, her sister Jeanne (Stuart) Rogers of Calgary, her sister-in-law Marge Annett of Medicine Hat, Alberta, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Annie Duncan and Ross Dyke, her granddaughter Rebecca Annett, her sister Charlotte Griffin, her son-in-law Don Coffin, and her step daughter-in-law Lynda Coupland. Doris was born in Leamington, raised in Mandaumin, and resided in Wanstead, London, and Petrolia, and is a graduate of Alma College of St. Thomas (1944). Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Alvinston Cemetery.
