CORNER, Robert Bruce October 17, 1955 – December 4, 2013
It is with great sadness the family announces Rob’s passing on December 4, 2013 at McCausland Hospital, in Terrace Bay. Rob is originally from Pefferlaw, resided in Schreiber, and was also a long time resident of South Porcupine. Rob is predeceased by his father Peter Corner and many other loved ones. Rob is survived by his partner Sharon Hansen and his children Shawna (Yvan Letourneau), Kass (Amanda Arquette), his grandchildren Jerica, Kasey, Owen, and Clarke and the mother of his children Carole Yergeau. Rob is also survived by his mother Anna Mae Rex Graham (Bob), his sisters Sabrina (Dave) and Shawna and his brother Scott (Sandra), also a large Gaudreau step family and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Rob graduated from Northern College in 2001 from the Millwright-Mechanic program. He was a Jack of all trades and worked in many different areas. There was nothing he couldn’t fix, laboring over a job until it was done right. Rob enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, hunting and “off-roading” with his tunes cranked. He had a contagious smile, always the life of the party keeping everyone laughing. As much as he would never admit it he was a worrier and would over think almost everything. A stubborn man in his ways with a heart of gold, loved his family, friends, children, grandchildren and pets dearly. Rob was a loving man and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Family to receive friends at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 287, 46 Legion Dr, South Porcupine on Saturday December 28, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. to share memories and refreshments. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory to the Timmins or Terrace Bay Humane Society would be appreciated.
