Loving father of Gary & wife Pat Cooper, Barbara & husband Mark Gellner, Bonnie & husband Eric Bjorkman. Cherished grandpa of Christopher (Lindsay), Julianne (Trevor), Janine (James), Jane, Isaac (1997), Cynthia (Joey) and Aaron (Sarah). Treasured great-grandpa of Nathan, Hannah, Bethany, Sarah, Kayli, Brooklyn, Joshua and Noah. Samuel was a proud WW II Veteran and was retired from Chrysler Canada. He was a long-time member of Parkwood Gospel Temple and was known for his participation in the Remembrance Service for Veteran’s reciting the poem, “In Flanders Fields”. Samuel found joy in ministering to others in song in various local nursing homes. Visiting Monday 3-5pm & 7-9pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Tuesday, family and friends are invited to meet after 10am at Parkwood Gospel Temple (3005 Temple Drive) followed by the funeral service at 11am. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
