Passed away with her family by her side at Trillium Villa Nursing Home, Sarnia on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Dorothy Cooper (nee Nickels), 90 years, was formerly of Petrolia and Wyoming. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Maurice (1993). She is survived by her children Loretta and Tom Needham of Ilderton, Dorcas and Ralph Dolbear of Wyoming, Joe and Gail Cooper of Sarnia, and Maurice LeRoy and Brenda Cooper of Arkona, and her foster daughter Pearl and Darrell Arnold of Buffalo, New York. She will be missed by her grandchildren Lorraine and Mike Minielly and their children Rachel, Ryan and Amy (Bradley and Cameron), Randy, and Reid; Vicki Lynn McNaughton and her daughters Kara and Jenna; Terri Dolbear; Wayne and Bev Cooper and their son Joe; Stanley Cooper; Stacey Cooper and his children Jessica and Taynia; Caulene and Peter Hodak and their children Jonathon, McKinlie, Sarah, and Chase; Shawn Cooper; Jody Cooper; Crystal Cooper and her daughters Delaney and Cassidy; David McLean; and Justin Arnold. She was predeceased by her four brothers and is survived by her sisters-in-law Bessie, Edna, and Florence. Visitors will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wyoming Chapel, 650 Broadway St., Wyoming where a funeral service will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Harvey Osborne of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Petrolia officiating. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque the C.E.E.
