Cole, Pearle canobitsFebruary 13, 1919 – April 30, 2013.

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of a beautiful woman inside and out who has joined her beloved husband Aubrey (2009) in heaven above.  She leaves behind to mourn, her beloved sons Jim (Elsa), Kim (Brenda), loved daughter Charmaine (Dale) Morrison, cherished grandchildren, Callum Cole, Chaunda and Cole Morrison.  Fondly remembered by sisters, Aleta Matson, Marjorie Davis, sisters-in-law, June Fuller, Jean Fuller and Kay Cole and several nieces and nephews.  Special friend to Pearl McLean and Beryl Fleming.  Pearle always said that it was Beryl Fleming who changed her fate by coaxing her into coming to Niagara Falls from King Township during WWII to earn money picking fruit.  While in Niagara, Pearle decided to do her part for the war by working at a munitions plant and once the war ended she pursued employment at Rogers International Silver.  It was there that she would forge her future with Aubrey.  Once her children came along, Pearle became a full time homemaker.  She volunteered for over 15 years with Dorchester Manor in the late 60’s and 70’s and another of her favourite pastimes was cross country skiing which she enjoyed into her early 80’s.

Family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, on Thursday May 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held at Christ Anglican Church, 4750 Zimmerman Ave., Niagara Falls on Friday at 11:00a.m.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Christ Anglican Church or to Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital.
