Suddenly on Thursday January 26, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Ernest Everingham, and the late Cyril Leadbetter. Loving mother of Debra, Brenda and Dale. Mary Jane was born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 7, 1936 and spent her early years in New York City. At the age of 12, Mary Jane’s family moved to Kingston, Ontario. She and her husband Cyril would relocate to Gimli, Manitoba where her two daughters were born. She married Ernie on March 18, 1967. Mary Jane and Ernie moved to Arizona in the year 2000. Mary Jane loved to travel, she enjoyed singing in choruses and choirs in the United States and Canada. Mary Jane was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Helen passed away on March 10th, 2017 in Warkworth, Ontario, with her loving husband, Harold de Kleer by her side.   Helen is the devoted mother of Rob (Yolanda), George (Nancy), Grace (Peter) and Julie Ann (Gary).  Doting grandmother of Erin, Bram, Elliot, Madeleine, Rebecca, Robin, Andrew, Ethan, Julia, Amy (Eoin), Jeremy (Abby), Grace, Reuben and Colette and great grandmother of Ethan, Evie, Penelope and Isla.Helen is predeceased by her siblings Herma, Thea, Bert, Corry and Wiesje.  She leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Canada, the Netherlands and the USA. Helen was born in Bandung, Indonesia and later grew up in The Netherlands.  She became a Kindergarten teacher and met Harold.  After coming to Canada, they married in 1960 and settled in Georgetown, Ontario where Helen raised four children while working as an ECE.  They moved to Castleton, Ontario in 2000 and she enjoyed retired life in the country while pursuing her love of nature, gardening and cooking.  Helen was a talented and creative woman as demonstrated by the beautiful handmade sweaters, socks, mittens, hats and even the odd animal or doll, which she shared with family.  In addition, at the age of 72 years, she decided to become an author as she wrote a small book which outlined some of the memorable stories of her life.  After battling cancer for several years, she celebrated her 80th birthday last September with laughter, zest and a new driver’s licence.Helen was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by her friends and family. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 18 at 1:00 pm at Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 204 Main St., Brighton, Ontario.  Reception to follow.  Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.

It is with deep sadness that the family of Bob Schultz announces his passing on February 21st, 2017 after a brief illness. For 58 years, he was the beloved husband of the late Norma. He was a wonderful father to Ruth (Brad Shehan), Jim and Mary. The very proud grandfather to John and Emma. Bob taught English and theatre arts at Cobourg East High School (CCI) for twenty-five years, where he enjoyed coaching football and basketball. He loved directing plays and musicals at the school, as well as for Northumberland Players. Bob had many diversified interests and hobbies. He enjoyed woodworking, reading everything from Shakespeare to Agatha Christie, all sports, playing piano, travelling with Norma and above all his lifetime love of golf.
