Passed away at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia on Wednesday, September 26, 2012.  Clyde Clements, 88 years, was formerly of Inwood.  He is survived by his wife Evelyn (nee Tait).  Clyde was the loving father of the late Margaret Thackeray (2010) and her husband Richard of Oil Springs, James and Penny Clements of Sarnia, Robert and Rose Clements of Petrolia, and Lyn and Darryl Kimmerly of Watford, and grandfather of Frank Baker, Paul Baker, Melissa Brown, Jennifer Bell, Dellie Luther, Joseph Clements, and Brooke Clements, and his seven great grandchildren.   Clyde is survived by a brother Lloyd Clements of Peterborough.  He is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Margaret (nee McCallum) Clements and his siblings Irene Pavey, Bernice Preece, Eugene Clements, Phyllis Hodgson, and Betty Hohol.   Clyde retired in 1980 from Imperial Oil.  Clyde’s  family would like to thank the staff of Lambton Meadowview Villa for their wonderful care.  Visitors will be received on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Susan Woodhouse of Inwood-Shiloh United Church officiating.  Interment will follow in Alvinston Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to St. Joseph’s Hospice of Sarnia-Lambton, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Inwood United Church.  Memories, pictures, and condolences may be shared on-line at
