Clarke, RickRichard Alan Clarke of Chesley, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Friday, September 13, 2013 in his 63rd year.

 

Beloved husband and best friend of Shirley (Knapp). Much loved brother of his sister Penny (Ken) Henry of Sarnia. Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Ricki Clarke of Chatham and step-children Dawn (Lance) Farris, Connie Gaeler and Lance Bell.  Grampa Rick will be lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law Lila Knapp of Hanover and Shirley’s family, Eleanor Showell (Brad) of Beamsville and Murray (Kathy) Knapp of R.R. #4 Chesley, nieces and nephews. Rick also leaves to mourn his family at Culligan in Hanover. Predeceased by his brother William Jr., nephew Steven Clarke, father-in-law Arnold Knapp, brother-in-law Bruce Showell and his parents, William and Doris (Liness) Clarke.

 

Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Sunday from 2-4 and 7–9 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Rick’s life will be held at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Chesley on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 2 p.m. Interment in Chesley Cemetery. 

 

Memorial donations to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Chesley Hospital Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
