Beloved life partner of Pearl (Benson) French. Dear father and father-in-law of Jeannette & Ian Howie of Halifax, NS., Linda & Wael Mohamed of Ottawa. Dear brother of Linda Smith of Moncton N.B., Yvonne & Doug Brown of Oshawa, Brenda & Gary Preston of Corner Brook, Nfld. and Howard & Norma Clarke of Angus. Lovingly remembered by Pearl’s family; Ron & Erica French of Millbrook, Dennis & Janet French of Sutton, Dianne & Alan Neil of Maderia Beach, Fl., Donna & Jim Ferron of Caledon, David & Catalina French of Millbrook, Wanda French of Pickering, Vivian & Bob Cavers of Dorchester, Cindy & Tom Hart of Lagoon City, Pearl & Derek Bess of Pickering. Loved and will be missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Gordon George & Mina Frances (Payne) Clarke, brother Harvey Clarke and brother-in-law Bruice Smith. A Celebration of Harold’s Life will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Ont. Cremation, with Interment in the family plot at Mount Patricia Cemetery, Corner Brook, Nfld. at a later date. Harold was a long time employee of Pilkington Glass and in his retirement worked for the London Free Press, Can Gro, Exeter and Mac’s Milk, Grand Bend.
