Clark, Dorothy “Rose” of St. Thomas, passed away on Thursday, October 25th, 2012, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Vern Clark and dearly loved mother of Michael and his wife Sandy Clark of St. Thomas Cheryl and her husband Duncan Graham of Petrolia and the late Brian Clark and his wife Linda Clark of Kitchener. Dear sister of Yvonne (Bonnie) Brown of London and Steven and his wife Joanne Pettit of St. Thomas. Predeceased by 2 sisters Jean Trigger and Ruth Eastbury. Loved grandmother of Stacey (Doug), Dave (Brenda), Michelle (Pierre), Kim (Vidal), Ken (Kim), Mike (Sarah), Lesley Anne, Bruce (Min) and Ashley. Sadly missed by 14 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Rose was born in St. Thomas on October 30th, 1920, the daughter of the late Reaford and Tenie (Henry) Pettit. She and her husband owned Clark Grocery Store on Wellington St. , Rose also worked for Metcalfe Shoes and worked in the cafeteria at A.V.S.S.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation.
