cindric 001 (189x250)Cindric-Ivica “John” of Talbotville, passed away peacefully, with his wife by his side on Sunday, January 27th, 2013, at the L.H.S.C. (Victoria Campus), in his 61st year. Dearly loved husband of 40 years of Darinka (Luketic) Cindric and much loved father of Tanya Cindric and her husband David Myers of Brockville, Dina Cindric and her husband Harris Newman of Montreal and Marko Cindric of St. Thomas. Specially loved grandfather of Bianca, Sienna, Nikola, Erica and Milan. Loved son of Durda (Rupcic) Cindric of St. Thomas and the late Dragan Cindric. Dear brother of Branko Cindric and his wife Jasminka of St. Thomas, Ljubica “Brenda” Cox and her husband Lawrence of Aylmer and Jasminka “Jessie” Sergeant and her husband Carl of Oakville. Predeceased by a brother Josip Cindric (1968). Dear uncle of Jason Cindric and Nicole Sabol. John was born in Croatia on February 10th, 1952. He worked over 37 years at the Ford Motor Company (Talbotville). He was a founding member of the St. Leopold Mandic Church, London and a member of the C.F.U. Lodge 530 Ogulin. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St.Thomas on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2:30-4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leopold Mandic Church, London on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Angels’ Cemetery. Prayers will recited at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the St. Leopold Mandic Church.
