The family of Joseph Chartrand announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls on Sunday, November 11th at the age of 90 years. Son of Emile and Léontine (Nadon) Chartrand both predeceased. Loving husband of Léonie (née Pitre) Chartrand of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of Marquise Séguin (Claude), Denis (late Debbie), Diane Filion (Gaétan), Boots (friend Denise), Pierre (Marian), Emile (Valerie) and Louise Lafortune (Réjean). Predeceased by his son Guy, his grandson Michel Séguin, his brothers and sisters Henri, Julie, Annette, Emma, Rémi, Ernest, Hervé, Aimé, Aurore, Thérèse, Marie-Anne and Alma.  Dear grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law Germaine and Fernande, as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A devoted husband, father and Pepere, Joseph was an avid gardener and a true fan of the Montreal Canadiens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 13th from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:30 at the St-David parish hall in Noëlville.  The funeral will be held Wednesday, November 14th at 11:00am at the St-David church in Noëlville. A special thanks to the staff of the 2nd floor at the Château, of the West Nipissing General Hospital and Palliative Care. Memorial donations may be made (by cheque only) to Maison Vale Inco Hospice, the Near North Palliative Care Network or the Alzheimer Society.
