Peacefully at Bluewater Health, on Friday, August 9, 2013, Allan Charbonneau passed away at the age of 83.  Beloved husband of the late Joyce (Forbes) (1999).  Loving father of Christine (Graydon) MacDonald, Cynthia (David) Rawcliffe, Debbie Biederwolf, Cindy (Bob) Kopp and Todd (Kathy) Biederwolf.  Cherished grandfather of Kelly Wiebenga, Stephen MacDonald and Sean MacDonald, Scott Rawcliffe, Kirby Leigh Rawcliffe and Tyler Rawcliffe, Leslie Deppe and Lindsey Tapin, Justin Kopp and Julie Kopp and Adea Biederwolf and Savana Biederwolf.  Treasured great grandfather to Ava Wiebenga, Andrew Wiebenga, Colin Graham and Rheanna Tapin.  Dear brother of Clara (Bunny) Crowe, Joan (late Bill) Norland, Wilfred (Marilyn) Charbonneau, Bob (Joan) Charbonneau, Jack (Rosalie) Charbonneau and brother-in-law of Charlie Moore.  Predeceased by his brothers Charles Tambroro, Frank Tambroro, Elmer Charbonneau, sisters Margaret Latham and Marie Moore.  Will be lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews.  Allan was an insulator with the Local 95, a commercial insulator at Dupont, and during these years he provided his co-workers, family and friends with holiday cheer as he dressed up as both Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, as well as being active in Alcoholics Anonymous for 50 years.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 12, 2013, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.   A celebration of Allan’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.  Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Canadian National Institute of the Blind (CNIB), or the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).  Memories and condolences may be sent online at http://smithfuneralhome.ca/
