CASTONGUAY, VictorThe family announces with great sorrow his passing in Burlington on May 25th, 2014at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Lillian May (née Guay) Castonguay. Predeceased by his parents Pierre and Celine (née Leroux) Castonguay. Beloved father of Diane Durette (Gérald). Predeceased by all his siblings, Selima, Rosa, Henri, Evelyn, Lucienne, Lisa, Balthe, Aldea, Laurette, Leon and Victoria. Sadly missed by his granddaughter Caroline. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Born June 29th, 1920 in Chelmsford, Victor grew up on a family farm. He was an avid musician and a true outdoorsman; having spent many years trapping, hunting and fishing. Victor was a businessman; owned and operated Sudbury Roofing from 1951-1961 and in 1961 opened up Crazy Vic’s Second Hand Store and Wood Business. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Tuesday, May 27th, 2014 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home Chapel.
