Passed away peacefully at home, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease on Friday December 28, 2012 in his 90th year.  Arnott of Stayner, beloved husband of Gertie for over 66 years.  Loving father of Helen (Don), Mitch (Rosemarie), Glenn (Willene), Brent (Mary Ann), Greg (Bonnie) and the late Paul.  Dear grandfather of Glenn, Dave, Krista, Paula, Jim, Wes, Martha, Marisca, Bryan, Bill, Katrina and many great-grandchildren.  Also survived by his sisters Edna Sinclair and Laurene English.  Predeceased by his brother Harvey Carruthers and his sister Dorothy Johnston.  Arnott will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.  Following Arnott’s wishes, a private family service has been held.  Interment Stayner Union Cemetery.  Arrangements under the direction of the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel (705-428-2637).  If desired, donations in Arnott’s memory may be made to the Parkinson Society or the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation.  For further information and to sign the Book of memories, log on to
