John Madower age 68 years, formerly of Cape Breton, NS, beloved husband of Shirley Susan Noseworthy. Dear father of Janice S. ( Ivan Galesic) of Barrie, John A. Madower, of Scarborough, ON. Loving grandfather of Jessica Tecca and Chelsea Madower. Brother of Fred Madower (Iris) of Truro, NS, Ruth Blackwood, and Gladys Axworthy (Johnny) all of Sydney, NS, Paul Madower (Audrey) of New Waterford, NS, David Madower of Sydney, NS and Susan Cafazzo (Dino) of Ottawa, ON. John was a wonderful father, husband and friend who loved fishing, hunting, golf and country music, he will be sadly missed by all. peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Trillium Manor, Orillia on Wednesday, November 13, 2013; 5 months after celebrating her 100th birthday.  Ethel Mallett, of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Charles (Charlie) Mallett.  Mother of Marilyn Graves and husband Ralph of Argyle, Hazel Bishop and husband Henry Mueggler of New Brunswick, Ruby Wylie and husband John of New Brunswick, and Jeannette Barlow of Orillia.  Grandmother of Geoff, Wanda, Terry, Tanis, and Jeanene.  Great grandmother of 8 and great great grandmother of 3.  Predeceased by brothers Ivan and Lorne.    Thank you to the staff at Trillium Manor, Bayshore Nursing and the Red Cross girls for their care and compassion.  The late Mrs. Ethel Mallett will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St.,N., Orillia on Sunday from 1 – 4 pm and on Monday, November 18th from 12 Noon until time of service in the chapel at 1 pm.  A reception will follow in the Mundell Reception room.  Interment to take place at the Atherley Cemetery at 3:30 pm.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church or Trillium Manor Activities would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence are welcome at www.mundellfuneralhome.com

Beloved husband of the late Margaret Connell (2012). Loving father of Theresa Miller and step-father of David (Patricia) Wilcox. Dearly missed by his grandchildren Bryanna, Bayley, Suzanne (Ben) and Paul (Debbie), and his great-grandchildren Maddlynn, Katie, Josh, Nicole and Joshua. He will also be sadly missed by Robyn. Lawrence is survived by his brother Jack (Olive) Connell, and is predeceased by his brother Eugene and his sisters Grace (the late Harold), Vivienne (the late Grant) and Catherine. A memorial service will take place at MacCoubrey Funeral Home (30 King St. E., Cobourg) on Sunday October 20, 2013 at 2 pm, with visitation taking place one hour prior, from 1 -2 pm. Coleman, Lenora Helen (Earley). It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lee Coleman of Barrie, Ontario in her 94th year on Sunday, October 6, 2013. Predeceased by her husband Spurgeon (Spinx) and her much loved son Max. Momma to Brenton (Rollande) of Callander, ON, Joe (Carol) of Hampton, NS, Barbara Friedl of Hamilton, ON, Betty Mason (Harvey) of Kirkland Lake, ON, Phillip (Gail) of Barrie, ON, Debra (Drew) Johnston of Barrie, ON. Nannie will be greatly missed by her 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. As well she leaves behind many family and friends from coast to coast, especially her dear sister-in-law, Cora Green of Nictaux, NS. She never ceased to marvel at the birth of a baby, “aren’t they just a miracle”, she would say. She loved all animals with a particular fondness for cats. Lee was born October 9, 1919 in the small fishing village of Margaretsville, Nova Scotia, she is the last direct descendant of the first lighthouse keeper, William Early. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Lee’s life will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 9:00am in the chapel of Grove Park Home, Barrie, ON for family and close friends. Interment at Barrie Union Cemetery, Barrie, ON. The family would like to thank all the staff on “maple” at Grove Park Home for their friendship, compassion and care given to Lee. Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Wednesday August 14, 2013. Kenny MacLeod of Ennismore, formerly of Cape Breton, N.S. in his 73rd year.  Beloved husband of 49 years to Alberta (MacNevin).  Dear father of Kevin (Shirley) of Ajax and Dwayne of Ennismore.  Grandpa will always be loved and remembered by Kaitlin, Sage and Brendon.  Also survived by his brother Corliss (Dorothy), sister Rosemary Howie (David), sister-in-law Marie and by his many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his son Kenneth (d. 1990), parents Angus and Laula MacLeod and brothers Gary and George “Dordie”.  Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Bridgenorth United Church on Monday August 19, 2013 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. A Lion’s service will then commence at 11:00 AM immediately followed by a memorial service conducted by Rev.
